Dolomites Bike Tours

The Dolomites are not just mountains — they’re a rite of passage for cyclists. With jagged limestone peaks, alpine meadows, and legendary climbs etched into Giro d’Italia history, every Dolomites cycling tour promises a mix of challenge and awe. This is a place where you don’t just ride — you conquer.

At Bikeriding Tuscany, our Dolomites bike tours are handcrafted for cyclists who want to test their legs, soak in the views, and experience one of the most celebrated riding regions in the world. The climbs are tough, the descents thrilling, and the culture rich with Ladin, Austrian, and Italian influences.

Why Bike Ride in the Dolomites?

Because every curve, climb, and col here feels epic. On a Dolomites cycling tour, you’ll tackle famous passes like the Sella Ronda, Pordoi, and Gardena — roads that have challenged champions and inspired generations of cyclists. You’ll also discover quiet alpine valleys, turquoise lakes, and postcard-perfect villages like Corvara and Ortisei.

The region celebrates cycling like few others. Take the Dolomites Bike Day, for example — one of Europe’s most iconic events where mountain roads are closed to cars and opened only to cyclists. It’s a bucket-list experience that shows just how deeply rooted the cycling community is here.

Expect cool mountain air, wildflower-dotted switchbacks, and that unmistakable sense of accomplishment at the summit.

Two unforgettable days riding from Castello del Calcione to Florence with Luigi and Sara of Bike Riding Tuscany. Day one was gravel roads through the Tuscan hills with stunning views (~65 km, 1,000 m); day two upped the ante with singletrack through the woods and a descent into Florence (~65 km, 1,000 m). Luigi and Sara make it — warm, fluent in English, and local, so you ride with a steady stream of stories about the area. One guides while the other supports, then they swap, so you get to know both. Excellent e-MTBs, flawless logistics, and lunches at simple, authentic trattorias with great food. Perfect for fit, experienced riders — you don't need to be a technical specialist; they pitch it just right and look after you throughout. Grazie, Luigi and Sara — we'll be back! — Rutger & Krik

Luigi and Sara offer the best local knowledge and friendly service for bike tours in Tuscany. We hired gravel bikes for 4 days and were provided with great routes covering all the best bits. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We have just returned home from a fantastic, self-guided gravel biking trip with Bikeriding Tuscany. We organised flights and transfers, Luigi and Sara at Bikeriding Tuscany organised a superb spa hotel (B&B) in Rapolano and provided four, customised one-day routes of 80-103k, plus Canyon Grizl gravel bike rental. Luigi and Sara provided an outstanding, friendly and caring service to ensure our trip was memorable and we could not have asked any more from them. I wholeheartedly recommend Bikeriding Tuscany and we plan to do another trip with them next year!

Goated bike rental. Luigi is the man. Super friendly, great advices and good vibes. Bike in tip top condition (2 Grizl, 2 Grails). Picked up the bikes in the morning, and brought them back in the evening. Smooth, efficient. Will go again if i need to rent a bike in the area.
