Everyone agrees that Mallorca, apart from its profound beauty, has a special charm, that allows cyclists to enjoy pedalling surrounded by culture, tradition and gastronomy. It’s easy to understand why the number of cyclists who visit us every year, is increasing.
We offer you the possibility of giving the whole return to the island, you will be able to enjoy 350 km from secondary roads.
Five days cycling route organised in the area of North Tramuntana of Mallorca, which also includes a route to Cap de Formentor and lighthouse.
It is a circular route that takes you through mountains, wonderful vineyards, cultivations and pastures, with its exceptional and characteristic interior – rural – Majorcan houses. The circuit is divided into 5 stages on average of 60-80 km each through secondary paths and roads. Each stage ends in a small town or village with luxury accommodation.

DAY BY DAY
Day 1 – welcome Palma
Arrive in Palma and transfer to the hotel on your own.
The travel begins from Palma, it gives you the opportunity to discover the most attractive places and monuments of the island’s capital.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the old town, in the traditional fishing district of Puig San Pere. Just relax, take in the local lifestyle and enjoy the pictured perfect scenery.
Our local representative will meet you at the hotel for your orientation in the afternoon.
Day 2 – PALMA TO CAMPANET VIA ALARO’ Distance 67 Km/ 42 miles
The bike ride starts from Palma .
You will exit the city riding along long stretches of dedicated cycle lanes – a cycle path.
That is good to reach north of Palma and take secondary roads.
Cycling is easy, rolling hills – pass very small villages and after 40 km ride you can stop at Alarò in the Placa de la Vila.
Other 10 km and you will pass Lloseta and soon after Biniamar- perfect place for a lunch – taking secondary roads you will arrive to Campanet and after 2 km you’ll reach your accommodation.
The hotel Agriturismo Monnaber Nou is the perfect base for cyclists and is considered the bike hotel for the entire island- beautiful pool and spa to relax after this ride.
Day 3 – LOOP TO POLLENÇA AND CAP FORMENTOR Distance 88 Km/ 55 miles or shorter option 56 km
Start your bike ride form Monnaber and cycling in rural road to reach Pollença, The town is a hub for cyclists, particularly popular with the British.
This is a good starting point to ease yourself into a long day in the mountains or to explore the flatter hinterland.
Pass through all the historical town by bike and continue the ride to Port de Pollenca – from here starts the challenging part of the day- reach Cap de Formentor.
The thin and rocky peninsula that forms the north side of the Badía de Pollença, and ends at the extreme northeast tip of the island of Mallorca.
You will ride untill the lighthouse at the tip of the peninsula, enjoying the spectacular scenery along the way.
The shorter option and easier ride is visiting Alcudia instead of going to cap Formentor.
Back to you hotel and enjoy the spa
Day 4 – CAMPANET TO SÓLLER Distance 53 Km/ 33 miles
Ready for the biking challeng day?
Much of today’s breathtaking hilly ride follows the spine of the Tramuntana range on the remote pristine western side of Mallorca.
Start out by pedaling along narrow, well paved roads into the countryside past picturesque farmland, and drystone walls.
Pass little village Muscari, Selva and Caimari to warm up your muscles.
Now start the climb that brings you to Col de sa Bataia and Sanctuary Luc, a secular national symbol.
You got it!! but is not finished, you have 33 more km to go!!!
Anyway consider once you arrive at the peak of today you will enjoy 16 km downhill passing the enchanting village of Fornalux.
For avid biker at km 29 can extend the ride to road called Sa Calobra.
Arrive in Soller!! surrounded by the gray-green hills of the Tramuntana.
Enjoy the pool on the roof of the hotel!!
Day 5 – LOOP TO COLL DE SÓLLER & VALLDEMOSSA Distance 54 Km/ 34 miles
This morning, before you start riding, you can wander Soller’s peaceful often cobbled street: in the main square the gothic church with unusual Modernista facade, the church’s candelabra like summit is visible from all over the town.
Do not miss Sala Picasso & sala Mirò at train station, permanent art exhibition.
The loop proposed is a beautiful cycle ride, exit Sóller and face soon the climb of the Coll de Sóller.
The Coll de Soller is famous for its 61hairpin bends. Once at the peak you enjoy the downhill to Bunyola village, continue an easy ride until the never ending uphill that leads to the pretty town of Valdemossa – the perfect stop for lunch. Now move on the coastal road towards the artists town of Deià, admire the breathtaking scenery.
Back to Soller via the Coll de Bleda.
Day 6 – Sóller – Palma – 90 Km/ 56 miles – optional shortcut 48 km/30 miles
After breakfast, grab your bike and head north. Tranquil roads take you toward terraced hillsides, dotted with quaint hamlets and windmills tucked among olive and fruit groves.
Continue pedaling down the coast, looking the Mediterranean mountain side with spectacular cliffs and take a brack in viewpoints.
Further down the road, you’ll crossing charming Estellencs, known for its attractive stone streets, the picturesque port and the remains of towers built to fend off pirates.
Cycling inland you can feel the sea still following you riding through the always changing landscape.
Excapdella and Galilea look perfectly built in the natural landscape.
From here it needs another small effort to face the last climb, a very narrow road in the wood that ends with a breathtaking downhill to Palma.
You are finally arrived but ready to start again the day after.
Day 7 – ADIOS AMIGO!!
You are free to depart at your leisure after breakfast.
You have time to wander around the historical buildings & Cathedral: we suggest the museu el Baluard, and the Banys arabs.

Another characteristic that makes the route attractive is the way the accommodation is organised.
Accommodation consists in 4* traditional agriturismo, very charming and very well located.
The client is going to taste three degustation dinners with the typical Majorcan cuisine, while enjoying all the services that each accommodation offers. All of them are very cosy and homely.
