As we cycle up an appetite, take cooking classes offered by renowned chefs of the island who bring the fresh Mediterranean flavors out of traditional delights.

Additionally here you’ll cook classic Sardinia dishes, such as Malloreddus, Culurgiones and Fregola.

Overall you’ll preparing dishes based on locally produced vegetables, fresh fish and meat with delicate and exquisite flavors.

Savor the intense tastes of local olive oil and let’s not hold back for a wine and cheese tasting either on this unique tour.

Consequently you’ll prepare local grown greens, fresh fish and meat with delicate and exquisite flavors.

We will visit the Punic-Roman ruins of THARROS and the mysterious archaeological complex site, SU NURAXI (IL NURAGHE) of Barumini.

Let’s pull over and take a swim in the sea, which Sardinia is famous for to round out our tour.

The tour includ seven days and six nights in luxury hotels, but it is possible to add some extra days.

DAY by DAY

Day 1 – Welcome to Alghero, the Catalan city

Meet at Alghero airport and transfer to fabulous lodging in front of the sea – Bike fitting. 
Optional, city tour with bike test or with walk. Lively and pretty city meets a new cosmopolitanism. Welcome dinner at “ai Tuguri” restaurant. 
Lodging: Villa Mosca or Las Tronas. Alghero

Day 2 – Capo Caccia & Vermentino wine area. Distance 54 km / 33mi, mostly flat

Round trip from Alghero to Capo Caccia and Palmadula.
Pedaling towards north Sardinia, we will encounter terrific beaches and landscapes.
Cycling ahead we will arrive to the cliff of Capo Caccia where is possible reach the sea by the narrow stairs. 
Who want, can ride untill Argentiera beach.
Go back to the hotel and enjoy the first cooking class to our friend Bastianina house.

Day 3 – Santu Lussurgiu, Bosa & Culurgiones Ravioli. Distance from 44 up to 90 km/27 or 55 mi, rolling hills & mountain

Cycling ride from Alghero to Bosa and transfer to Santu Lussurgiu. You leave Alghero biking up on beautiful uplands, viewing unforgettable landscapes.
Pedal by Pedal we will arrive to Bosa for admire the west coast and the Malaspina castle. 
Finally, you’ll arrive to Santu Lussurgiu, which is a characteristic structure of an amphitheater.
This town is very pretty with its ancient stone houses built in concentric configuration!
Get ready for cooking class at Antica Dimora.
Our chef will introduce the preparation of ravioli Culurgiones or capocollo. 
The gourmet dinner will include tasting local cheeses and the fabulous Stinco di Bue Rosso meat.

Day 4 – Oristano, Sinis Peninsula & Local Olive Oil. Distance: 67 km / 41mi, downhill and flat.

Today we will bike along country roads passing through small villages such as Narbolia or Bonarcado.
Soon we will arrive on the Campidano flat in Riola Sardo.
Here we will have a olive oil tasting hardly forgettable.
Straight to the Sinis Peninsula, where there are plenty of lagoons and wetlands. 
You can visit the ruins of the Punic-Roman port city of “Tharros” with a breathtaking view. 
Finally we will arrive in Oristano, a medieval town of horsemen, famous for its SARTIGLIA, medieval horse race. Dinner included on the oldtown restaurant. 
Lodging: Regina d’Arborea Hotel or Luxury farm Is Cheas, Oristano

Day 5 – Gesturi & Sa Giara Highplateau. 
Distance: 69 km / 43 mi, flat and rolling hills terrain.

This morning will cycling inland from Oristano through small villages and country roads. Enjoying the landscape of the vast flatlands towards the central hilly lands of Sardinia. 
Then we will ride around the Giara Plateau, a 600m highplane up on the sea level where they live a lot of wild little black horses called GIARINI.
See the murals of the small towns as Villaurbana. 
Also famous for the handmade bread, or Villa Sant’Antonio each with their own prehistoric Nuragic fortified towers.
Some towers with villages and others with remnant tombs of the giants.
Arrive to Gesturi in the afternoon where you can walk on the old town. Dinner at “la Taverna del Conte” in Gesturi. 
Lodging: Luxury B&B Borgo Antico XIX Sec. and Cortis Antigas

DAY – 6 Flumendosa Lake & Barumini World Heritage site. 
Distance: 55 km / 34mi all flat.

Loop bike ride on the Marmilla subregion. 
Start with your bike ride inland descending towards Nurallao, about 10 kilometers to the town of Gesturi.
The area has long been populate; even before roman times and evidences can bee see on your ride!
During the history it was chose by locals as a spot to grow wheat and build Nuraghi towers.
Later that, climb up to Villanova Tulo and enjoy the scenic downhill to the Flumendosa Lake.
Amazing views and by cycling to the small villages and hamlets.
In Barumini you will be able to take a guided tour and walk inside the Unesco World Heritage complex of Su Nuraxi.
Light lunch today is in Barumini before the visit at the Museum.
Go back to Gesturi for our farewell dinner at B&B.

Day 7 – Arrivederci

After a farewell breakfast all together, we arrange private transfer to Cagliari or Cagliari airport.
