Tuscany Bike Tours

Rolling hills, medieval hill towns, golden vineyards, and legendary food — Tuscany is the beating heart of Italy’s cycling culture. Whether you’re cruising through cypress-lined roads or savoring a glass of Chianti after a ride, bike tours in Tuscany are the perfect way to explore this iconic region with all five senses.

At Bikeriding Tuscany, we curate immersive, stress-free Tuscany bike tours that balance fitness with flavor, culture with comfort, and exploration with ease. From beginner-friendly routes to more challenging climbs, there’s a ride here for everyone — casual travelers and seasoned cyclists alike.

Why Bike Ride in Tuscany?

Tuscany is made for cyclists who want to immerse themselves in Italy. With its quiet backroads, panoramic ridge lines, and charming stone villages, this region rewards those who take their time. Bike riding in Tuscany connects you to the landscape like nothing else — you’re not just seeing it, you’re in it.

Expect sun-drenched mornings and long, golden evenings. One moment you’re pedaling through olive groves, and the next, you’re stopping for fresh pecorino and a double espresso in a sleepy piazza. Tuscany is a cyclist’s dream, with routes that wind through vineyards, UNESCO towns like Pienza and San Gimignano, and the serene hills of the Val d’Orcia.

Plus, there’s nothing quite like arriving at your next destination by bike, where your luggage is already waiting and a local dinner is being prepared. That’s the Bikeriding Tuscany difference.

Two unforgettable days riding from Castello del Calcione to Florence with Luigi and Sara of Bike Riding Tuscany. Day one was gravel roads through the Tuscan hills with stunning views (~65 km, 1,000 m); day two upped the ante with singletrack through the woods and a descent into Florence (~65 km, 1,000 m). Luigi and Sara make it — warm, fluent in English, and local, so you ride with a steady stream of stories about the area. One guides while the other supports, then they swap, so you get to know both. Excellent e-MTBs, flawless logistics, and lunches at simple, authentic trattorias with great food. Perfect for fit, experienced riders — you don't need to be a technical specialist; they pitch it just right and look after you throughout. Grazie, Luigi and Sara — we'll be back! — Rutger & Krik

An amazing experience! For a first time rider, it was the thrill of a lifetime. Could not have done it without the patience of the professional staff.

Luigi and Sara offer the best local knowledge and friendly service for bike tours in Tuscany. We hired gravel bikes for 4 days and were provided with great routes covering all the best bits. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We have just returned home from a fantastic, self-guided gravel biking trip with Bikeriding Tuscany. We organised flights and transfers, Luigi and Sara at Bikeriding Tuscany organised a superb spa hotel (B&B) in Rapolano and provided four, customised one-day routes of 80-103k, plus Canyon Grizl gravel bike rental. Luigi and Sara provided an outstanding, friendly and caring service to ensure our trip was memorable and we could not have asked any more from them. I wholeheartedly recommend Bikeriding Tuscany and we plan to do another trip with them next year!

Sara and Luigi. What a team, we had the most wonderful experience meeting them at Bikeriding Tuscany. Gigi aka Luigi had the bikes ready for us when we arrived with a wonderful guide Sara that Gigi call "a beautiful Lady" (she truly is) we had so much fun riding with her and she is extremely knowledgeable about the region , both are very proud of what they do and proud to be from Toscana. I strongly recommend this shop that have all kind of bikes, road bikes gravel bike and E bikes.that come with the excellent service they provide, they have all your biking needs well maintained and well organized.when you say good bye you leave like you know them for a long time. I know in 2027 we are going back with a group and we will be using their services.

Goated bike rental. Luigi is the man. Super friendly, great advices and good vibes. Bike in tip top condition (2 Grizl, 2 Grails). Picked up the bikes in the morning, and brought them back in the evening. Smooth, efficient. Will go again if i need to rent a bike in the area.
